    • Have a minimum of Merit at NCE level.
    • Meet the UI departmental requirements for your chosen course.

Important Note:

  • Uploading your O’Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal is mandatory for all UTME candidates.

University of Ibadan Post-UTME/DE Registration Process

  1. Visit the UI Admissions Portal: Access the official UI admissions portal at

  2. Login: Use your JAMB Registration Number as your username and your surname in lowercase letters as your password (e.g., 12345678EG and oyekanmi).

  3. Registration Fee: Pay the portal access fee of N3,000 and the screening fee of N2,000 through the portal. Payment options include:

    • Credit/Debit Card Payment
    • Cash payment at the bank using a printout from the portal
    • Direct bank account debit through your internet banking platform
  4. Complete the Online Application: Carefully fill out the online application form, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

  5. Upload Required Documents: Scan and upload the necessary documents, including:

    • O’Level results (WAEC/NECO)

    • A passport photograph

    • JAMB result slip (for UTME candidates)

    • DE qualification (ND, HND, NCE certificate) (for DE candidates)
