AKSU School Fees For Non-Indigene (2023/2024)
Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), formerly known as Akwa Ibom University of Technology (AKUT), is a public state university located in Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
The university was founded in 1987 by the then governor of Akwa Ibom State, Col. Akpan Hogan Bassey.
AKSU is a multi-campus university with campuses in Ikot Akpaden, Oruk Anam, and Obio Akpa. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the arts, sciences, engineering, and technology.
AKSU School Fees For Non-Indigene (2023/2024)
The school fees for non-indigene students at AKSU for the 2023/2024 academic session is as follows:
- Faculty of Arts: ₦123,000
- Faculty of Science: ₦123,000
- Faculty of Engineering: ₦123,000
- Faculty of Law: ₦123,000
- Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences: ₦130,000
- Faculty of Medicine: ₦420,000
Acceptance Fee
All newly admitted students at AKSU are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦30,000. The acceptance fee is non-refundable and is to be paid before the student can register for their courses.
Hostel Accommodation Fee
The hostel accommodation fee at AKSU for the 2023/2024 academic session is ₦40,000. The hostel fee covers bed space and maintenance. Accommodations are available for all interested students per academic year.

Payment Deadline
The deadline for payment of school fees and hostel accommodation fee for the 2023/2024 academic session is two weeks after the commencement of lectures.

How To Apply For Admission To AKSU
To apply for admission to AKSU, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must have at least five credits in your O’level results, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects.
- You must have a minimum score of 140 in the JAMB UTME.
- You must pass the AKSU post-UTME screening test.
Application Process
To apply for admission to AKSU, you must visit the university’s website and create an account. Once you have created an account, you can then proceed to fill out the online application form.
The online application form will require you to submit your personal information, academic qualifications, and other relevant information. You will also be required to upload scanned copies of your O’level results and JAMB UTME scorecard.
Once you have submitted your online application form, you will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee. The application fee is ₦5,000.
After you have paid the application fee, you will be able to print out your application form and submit it to the AKSU Admissions Office.
Post-UTME Screening Test
All applicants to AKSU are required to sit for the post-UTME screening test. The post-UTME screening test is a computer-based test that covers English Language, Mathematics, and two other relevant subjects.
The post-UTME screening test is usually held in June or July each year. The date for the post-UTME screening test will be announced on the AKSU website.
