1. Requirements To Study Microbiology In UNIBEN:

To pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology at UNIBEN, you must meet the following academic requirements:

a) Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE): Aspiring candidates must possess a minimum of five credit passes in subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. These credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings.

b) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME): You must obtain a satisfactory score in the UTME, which is conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Choose Microbiology as your preferred course of study during the JAMB registration process.

2. JAMB Subject Combination:

During the JAMB registration, candidates applying for Microbiology at UNIBEN must select the following subjects as their UTME subject combination:

a) English Language (compulsory)
b) Biology
c) Chemistry
d) Physics or Mathematics

3. Post-UTME Screening:

After the UTME, UNIBEN conducts a Post-UTME screening exercise for applicants. It is essential to stay updated with the university’s official website or admission portal for information regarding the screening exercise.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their UTME scores, SSCE results, and other criteria set by the university.
