Babcock University, located in the serene town of Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, is one of the most prestigious private universities in the country.

The institution is renowned for its commitment to providing quality education and producing well-rounded graduates who are well-equipped to face the challenges of the 21st century.

Babcock University has a wide range of programs, including Medicine and Surgery, which is one of the most sought-after programs in the institution.

As with every private university in Nigeria, Babcock University’s Medicine and Surgery program is not cheap.

The fees for the program are relatively high, and as such, prospective students and their parents/guardians need to be aware of the costs involved in pursuing this program.

The tuition fee for the Medicine and Surgery program at Babcock University is currently ₦3,500,000 (three million, five hundred thousand naira) per session.

This fee covers tuition, accommodation, and feeding for the duration of the academic session.

The program is a six-year course, which means that students are expected to pay this fee for six academic sessions, making the total cost of the program ₦21,000,000 (twenty-one million naira).

It is important to note that the fees for the Medicine and Surgery program at Babcock University are subject to review from time to time.

Therefore, it is advisable to confirm the current fees with the institution’s admissions office before making any financial commitments.

In addition to the tuition fee, students are also required to pay other fees, such as acceptance fees, registration fees, and medical fees.

The acceptance fee is currently ₦150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand naira), while the registration fee is ₦250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira) per session.

The medical fee is ₦25,000 (twenty-five thousand naira) per session.

It is important to note that the fees for the Medicine and Surgery program at Babcock University are relatively high compared to other private universities in the country.

However, the institution offers various scholarship opportunities to deserving students, which can help to reduce the financial burden of the program.

One of the scholarship opportunities available to students is the Babcock University Scholarship Scheme (BUSS).

This scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and outstanding leadership qualities. The scholarship covers up to 50% of the tuition fee for the program.

Another scholarship opportunity available to students is the Babcock University Merit Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded to students who have scored a minimum of 250 in their UTME and have obtained at least five credits in their O’Level result.

The scholarship covers up to 20% of the tuition fee for the program.

There is also the Babcock University Alumni Scholarship Scheme (BUASS). This scholarship is awarded to students whose parents/guardians are alumni of the institution. The scholarship covers up to 25% of the tuition fee for the program.

It is essential to note that these scholarship opportunities are highly competitive, and only a limited number of students are selected to benefit from them.
