COOU School Fees For Nursing (2023/2024)
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly Anambra State University (ANSU), is a state-owned university located in Uli, Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria.
The university was founded in 1981 as Anambra State University and was renamed Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in 2011 in honor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the first military governor of Eastern Nigeria and the leader of the Biafran secessionist movement.
COOU is a multi-campus university with campuses in Uli, Awka, Igbariam, and Agulu. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the arts, sciences, engineering, and technology.
COOU School Fees For Nursing (2023/2024)
The school fees for nursing students at COOU for the 2023/2024 academic session is as follows:
- Faculty of Nursing Sciences: ₦187,950
Acceptance Fee
All newly admitted students at COOU are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦26,315. The acceptance fee is non-refundable and is to be paid before the student can register for their courses.
Hostel Accommodation Fee
The hostel accommodation fee at COOU for the 2023/2024 academic session is ₦25,000. The hostel fee covers bed space and maintenance. Accommodations are available for all interested students per academic year.

COOU School Fees Payment Deadline
The deadline for payment of school fees and hostel accommodation fee for the 2023/2024 academic session is two weeks after the commencement of lectures.

How To Apply For Admission To The COOU School Of Nursing
To apply for admission to the COOU School of Nursing, you must meet the following requirements:

You must have at least five credits in your O’level results, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

You must have a minimum score of 200 in the JAMB UTME.

You must pass the COOU School of Nursing post-UTME screening test.
Application Process in COOU
To apply for admission to the COOU School of Nursing, you must visit the university’s website and create an account. Once you have created an account, you can then proceed to fill out the online application form.
The online application form will require you to submit your personal information, academic qualifications, and other relevant information. You will also be required to upload scanned copies of your O’level results and JAMB UTME scorecard.
Once you have submitted your online application form, you will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee. The application fee is ₦5,000.
After you have paid the application fee, you will be able to print out your application form and submit it to the COOU School of Nursing Admissions Office.
Post-UTME Screening Test
All applicants to the COOU School of Nursing are required to sit for the post-UTME screening test. The post-UTME screening test is a computer-based test that covers English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
The post-UTME screening test is usually held in June or July each year. The date for the post-UTME screening test will be announced on the COOU website.
